Another tap-in from Xabi Alonso last night ! It would have been an easy catch if poor old Harper hadn't slipped on his ar*e whilst backtracking.
Apparently Benitez was on his feet about to give Alonso an earful for not spotting the unchecked run of Gerrard down the wing......you'd think he would have learned to wait for the outcome of an Alonso shot by now, before leaping to accuse !

And this Saturday it was Robinson's turn to get beaten from 40 yards out by a Riise rasper.
What is it with the Anfield pitch ? Never mind watering it......maybe they grease it before a match ?
(I pity the Jorum team that has Benoit Assou-Ekotto at leftback......he was abysmal).
