A miserable week by and large...

A home thumping by Leeds which I suppose would have been worse had it not been so predictable (defeatist attitude setting in).

For Caen, a home win against Celtic was fine but as I forgot the Champions League fixture and didn't scout or pick a team, I don't think I can take the credit for the win over Fiorentina.

However much I improve my reserves they always play pants as well.

What idiot suggested turning up the injuries this season ?????

My first choice 'keeper, Chris Stringer, who I have been grooming up from the reserves for four seasons, has knacked his cruciate ligaments and could be out for up to 10 months !!! That's 40 matches ! Nearly two seasons !!! Aaaaaargh.

I will see how his replacement does (at least I bought quality in Marcus Hahnemann), but I might have to dip into the market for a short-term signing or maybe a long-term loan.

Crikey......a real and serious problem for me to sort out ! This is what I've been waiting for. Yippee !!

Hmmn, 2 games 2 points, against Newcastle and Chelsea i'm not sure if i should be happy or just plain relieved ! Oh well looks like i'm going to be the Jorum draw specialists again this season, did win my uefa tie though, which was nice.
