Go on then......what are your predictions for the league winners in whichever league your team plays ?

And where do you think you will finish, as well (maybe they are one and the same) ?

Considering the top-notch signings they have made, my money is on Chelsea to take the English Premiership by storm this season. And I honestly think my strengthened-where-it-counts Huddersfield can nick the last UEFA Cup spot (8th). I am gently salivating to watch the Garcia/Chopra partnership blossom !

Ever the dreamer !!

It could be a tag team tussle for that last juicy European spot, what with Carlisle coming straight back up this season !

"Stone Cold" Flemmy versus Jake "The Baby-Faced Assasin" Fallows !!!

Who does that make Matt ?

But seriously, I am hoping for a decent start against Sunderland this week and then build from there. I think like last season I am going to score bucketloads of goals, but leak like a sieve again too. Plenty of 3-2s and last -minute winners I reckon.

I'm going to be arrogant and say Caen will win the Atlantic league. In the manager interviews last season not one person tipped them to win, even though they were reigning champions. I can't see who is going to pip me this year!

In Carlisle's league I'd say perhaps Chelsea might do something this year, I liked the Lampard out, Fabregas and ££££ in deal.

You wouldn't risk a fiver on Carlisle topping the Prem this year then ?

5 whole english pounds eh ? Well i've drawn against 2 of the leading contenders so far if you can get a point this week against me it might be worth a flutter at the right odds !

Not sure I'd risk a fiver on them staying up. Got a good squad, Friedel, Birindelli, Barzagli, Abidal, Ben Haim, Nelson, Stalteri, Gera, Stelios, Muntari, Faye (the good one), Francis, Cole, Asthon and Doyle, so much better prepared than last time around.

But, even though my team is much improved, the time spent in Premiership 2 has just meant all the Prem 1 teams have been busy improving their own squads even further.

May have to put the £11m Crouch money to good use.
